Elephant Kingdom and Sayuri World have been reopened as “ANIMAL WONDER REZOURT”! ANIMAL WONDER REZOURT is a new resort-type zoo consisting of two areas (“ICHIHARA Elephant Kingdom” area and “Sayuri World” area).
Opening hours: March to October 9:30-16:30／
November to February 10:00-16:00
Elephant performance time: 11:00～／14:00～
ICHIHARA Elephant Kingdom
We have the largest number of Asian elephants in Japan, together with other 70 species of animals. You can do many activities such as riding an elephant, hanging on the nose of an elephant, and feeding many kinds of animals. The most popular performance in the show is the elephant drawing.
Sayuri World
The theme is the coexistence of humans and animals. Sayuri World is home to a giraffe family of three and various animals such as capybaras, kangaroos, binturongs, rabbits and birds. You can pet and feed the animals living freely in the zoo.
